EdUHK established the Academy for Educational Development and Innovation (AEDI) in September 2023 as a hub of educational development and innovation in Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area and beyond. As shown in the photo, EdUHK joins alliances with institutions from Shandong, Hong Kong and Macao.

The North Point Study Centre was opened

教大不斷擴闊學術及研究範疇，於2023年9月成立兩所新學院：一是教育發展與創新學院，一是應用政策研究及教育未來學院。又於2024年3月成立本港首個高等教育領導與政策研究中心。

教學方面，教大亦不斷擴展本科和研究生課程，於2022至2025年在運動科學、人工智能、環境管理、文化遺產、行政管理、社會創業等多個領域推出九個榮譽文學士、理學士及社會科學學士學位課程，並將開辦教育神經科學、高級公共行政及領導、全球高等教育等碩士課程。

教研設施方面，除了持續完善大埔校園及將軍澳教學中心外，更於2022年9月在大埔校園動工興建全新教學大樓，並於翌年9月啟用首個位於港島的教學設施—北角教學中心。此中心連同原有的大埔校園及將軍澳教學中心，為教大師生提供更便利的教學空間。

To expand its academic and research scope, EdUHK established two new academies in September 2023: the Academy for Educational Development and Innovation (AEDI) and the Academy for Applied Policy Studies and Education Futures (AAPSEF). In addition, the Centre for Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies (CHELPS), the first of its kind in Hong Kong, was established in March 2024.

In terms of teaching, EdUHK keeps expanding its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Nine Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) degree programmes were launched from 2022 to 2025 in a variety of areas, including sports science, artificial intelligence, environmental management, cultural heritage, executive management and social entrepreneurship. Master’s programmes will be offered in educational neuroscience, public administration and leadership as well as global higher education.

In terms of teaching and research facilities, in addition to the continuous improvement of the Tai Po Campus and the Tseung Kwan O Study Centre, the construction of a new academic building on the Tai Po Campus began in September 2022. Furthermore, in September 2023, the University inaugurated its first teaching facility on Hong Kong Island—the North Point Study Centre. Along with the existing Tai Po Campus and Tseung Kwan O Study Centre, this new centre provides more convenient teaching and learning spaces for EdUHK’s faculty and students.
