1967年，羅富國師範學院、葛量洪師範專科學校與柏立基師範專科學校皆改名為教育學院。1974年，政府開設香港工商師範學院，接管摩理臣山工業學院的工業師資訓練課程。
In 1967, Northcote Training College, Grantham Training College and Sir Robert Black Training College were all renamed as Colleges of Education. In 1974, the government established the Hong Kong Technical Teachers’ College to take over the former Department of Technical Teacher and Workshop Instructor Training of Morrison Hill Technical Institute.
