Ancient education emphasised the “Six Arts” of students, namely “Rites, Music, Archery, Charioteering, Literacy, and Numeracy”. EdUHK will introduce the New Six Arts curriculum starting with the 2024 to 2025 intake, based on the guiding principle of “applying the ancient to the present, integrating Chinese and Western cultures”. Through the integration of the New Six Arts studies and experiential learning, students can learn the essence of the ancient and modern Six Arts in contemporary society via an innovative approach.
